Editing Video & Photos to DVD for Business & Home
I offer an editing service to convert VHS to DVD, analogue to DVD, video to digital format. I provide a VHS to DVD service. I can transfer old video tapes to DVD. Converting VHS to DVD or any video to DVD is not difficult but you need equipment to play the video tapes and capture software. Over the last 30 plus years there has been a number of different video formats from VHS, Betamax, Video 8, Hi8, Mini discs, DV Tapes and now SD cards. VHS, Betamax and Video 8 are regarded as analogue formats and the rest as digital formats.
Although we can watch these formats via the cameras that recorded the video in the first place we need to convert video to DVD for our friends and family to watch our videos when you want them to have a copy. Video to DVD transfer or VCR to DVD is not something everybody is capable of doing. We specialise in video transfer and can offer this service at a very competitive rate.
Editing film goes hand in hand with producing film. In fact a great deal of professional film makers still use 35mm film to produce movies and editing is still about cutting and splicing reels of 35mm film. Although movie makers are increasingly using digital video to produce movies.
VHS, Betamax and Video 8 tapes are analogue and editing and copying these tapes loses quality. All camcorders are now digital and High Definition (HD) cameras are becoming the norm. Editing and copying from digital tapes, discs, or memory cards does not lose quality.
A home or leisure video can normally stay as it is even with all the mistakes as this sometimes adds to the fun of the viewing. On the other hand a video of a Wedding, special occasion or even a party needs some editing if it is being given as a present. Adding a music track can greatly improve a video.
This video tries to show a holiday boat trip and has been edited and has text added, some voice over and music added.
At the basic level of editing, all the mistakes can be removed. Even scenes can be re-arranged to make the story flow better. The start and end of the video may require titles and text added. Transitions between scenes can add a little professionalism to your home movie. You may want to add comments, photos or music to the video.
Many people, have hundred if not thousands of photos as slides, film, printed or digital. There are a number of Internet based services which can produce a book of your photos. They make a great and unusual present. If you would like to have one of these books made up for an occasion but do not have the know how to do it, or do not have the facilities to convert your old photos to the format required, we can help.
Also you may have old photographic prints or slides in albums or boxes you want to put on DVD. A single DVD can hold hundreds and hundred of photos. Old prints and slides need to be scanned into a digital format before adding to a slideshow which can become your ‘movie’ of all your photos on DVD. Titles, transitions between photos, music and even voice overs can be added to enhance the viewing on DVD.
You may have video on different formats and would like to tranfer all your videos to DVD. VHS to DVD,Video 8 to DVD, Mini tapes to DVD, Videos and photos can be transfered to the same DVD. Todays camcorders can transfer straight to DVD but if you have some of the older formats you may not have the equipment to transfer your video to DVD. We have the equipment to transfer for you.
A company can get its message across in a simple video to say it has moved and show its customers the new, larger premises. Video is an inexpensive way to advertise.
A business video will normally need editing to ensure all unwanted video is removed and that the message a business wants to get across about its products or services is done in a professional and timely manor. Text, graphs and presentations may also need to be added to the video. A voice over or music may need to be added to the video. The business video may need to be up loaded to a website or down loaded on to DVD.
